Since February 2007

WARNING: Since February, OVh has installed new DNS servers. From that time on, for all new domain , the following DNS declarations are required.

Correct declarations DNS

- for web hosting, your domain should be pointed to:
* ns11.ovh.net
* dns11.ovh.net

- for domain only (without hosting service):
* ns11.ovh.net
* dns11.ovh.net

- for domain which is hosted on a dedicated server in OVH:
* nsXXX.ovh.net (your server)
* sdns1.ovh.net

- for a domain that is hosted on Kimsufi:
* ksXXX.kimsufi.com (your server)
* ns.kimsufi.com

Incorrect declaration

Here are examples of DNS declarations which are incorrect and will not function properly:

- with kimsufi server, do not declare:
* ksXXX.kimsufi.com * sdns1.ovh.net	but instead:	* ksXXX.kimsufi.com * ns.kimsufi.com

- with ovh server, for a new domain, do not declare:
* nsXXX.ovh.net * ns11.ovh.net	but instead:	* nsXXX.ovh.net * sdns1.ovh.net

- with a new domain, do not declare:
* dns11.ovh.net * ns11.ovh.net	but instead:	* dns11.ovh.net * ns11.ovh.net
