Mozilla Thunderbird Configuration
Thunderbird is an e-mail program that has the same options as Outlook

Configuration
1. Decompress the downloaded file.
bunzip2 thunderbird-0.5-i686-pc-linux-gtk2-gnu.tar.bz2
tar -xf thunderbird-0.5-i686-pc-linux-gtk2-gnu.tar
2. Launch the program.
3. Choose the e-mail Account
4. Enter your Name and e-mail address then click on the Next button.
5. Select POP and specify your POP server :
ns0.ovh.net or
mail.domain.com or
pop3.domain.com
as well as the SMTP ns0.ovh.net or smtp.domain.com
6. Next Enter your connection login:
paul.durand%domain.com
7. Next enter your account name:
Paul Durand
8. Click on Finnish
9. Click on Recover : The password of the requested account.
Installation of an extra account
1. Go to the Tools then Account Parameters
2. Click next on Add Account
3. Follow the configuration procedure
In Case of Problems
- If you encounter e-mail Errors when you send e-mails, make sure that you have checked the box stating :
"Use a secured authentification" in the server parameters.
- Also verify the connection parameters for the Outgoing Server (SMTP):
Connection Parameters
- Incoming e-mail server POP3 : ns0.ovh.net or mail.domain.com or pop3.domain.com
- Outgoing e-mail server SMTP : ns0.ovh.net or smtp.domain.com
- Username login : use your e-mail address and replace "@" with "%" (Ex: paul.durand%domain.com)
- Password : use the password associated with the account
